Our goal with this Two story block house is to provide an office for a work at home businessman. We removed the existing carport and built a Sunroom using a HardirPlank KneeWall, Simonton Slider windows and a PGT french door.

Many people are surprised to see that Martin Home Exteriors sunrooms have no wood in the construction. You can see here that the framing is all aluminum, the first roof panel is in place. These “sandwich” panels are 3″ thick with aluminum on the top and bottom, insulation in between. They are strong enough to walk on!
A unique feature of this Sunroom is a 4′ french door. I prefer outswing doors, they are secure, they are more weathertight than a inswing and they do not take up valuable space inside.
